How to create a wire wrapped bracelet

beady bead

Step One

Take 1 metre of wire and thread on a gemstone and then a spacer bead and continue to thread alternate beads on to the desired length to fit around your wrist, approx. 18 -20 cm remembering to allow for the toggle clasp. Leave 1 inch of wire at one end and make a loop next to the first gemstone. Bend the wire at the other end of the bracelet to stop the gemstones from falling off.

Step Two

Attach the toggle clasp loop by threading the small loop end onto the loop you have made and secure by wrapping the end of the wire around the loop. Trim any excess wire with the wire cutters.

Step Three

On the other end of the bracelet make a loop close to the bead and attach the T bar on to the loop and secure with a wrap around the loop and leave the length of wire attached as this will be used to wrap the bracelet.

Step Four

Using the long length of wire wrap around each gemstone and spacer bead, continue to make one half wrap around all gemstones on the bracelet and secure at the end by wrapping twice around the spacer bead and trim wire with wire cutters to complete.
