Follow these simple step-by-step instructions to create an elegant Pink and White Netted Seed Bead Bracelet. Seed Beads are perfect for creating intricate designs and the best way to embellish Cuffs and Choker style designs. If you’ve never used Seed Beads before, take a step out of your comfort zone and try out this tutorial to challenge yourself. This tutorial could also be used to create a necklace design and you could always switch up the colour scheme to your favourite colours to make the design personal to you. Step One
Thread a size 10 beading needle with approx 1.5m wildfire thread, leave a tail of about 10 inches then add 1 x seed bead, 1 x 4mm round, 1 x seed bead, 1 x 4mm round, 1 x seed bead, 1 x 4mm round. Pass the needle through all of the beads again forming a loop with the needle exiting a seed bead.
Step Two
Pick up 7 seed beads, skip the 4mm round and pass the needle through the next available seed bead.
Step Three
Repeat step 2 another two times until your needle comes back through the first seed bead again.
Step Four
Pass the needle up through 4 seed beads so it exits from the middle, then push all of the seed beads upward so they sit on top of the 4mm rounds instead of around the edges.
Step Five
Add a 4mm round and pass the needle through the middle seed bead of the next loop, then add another 4mm round and pass the needle through the middle seed bead of the next loop. Add a third 4mm round and pass the needle through the first seed bead, 4mm round and exit from the next seed bead.
Step Six
Continue repeating the pattern from steps 2 - 5 until you have your desired bracelet length, then finish by repeating step 5 but without adding the 4mm rounds. Pass the needle through the three central beads two more times for added security.
Step Seven
Secure a jump ring to the end by looping the thread through it, then through the end seed beads several times. When it feels secure pass the needle underneath some of the exposed threads and tie a double knot, pass the needle back through some of the beads before trimming the excess thread away.
Step Eight
Thread the needle onto the 10 inch tail on the other end of the bracelet and repeat step 5 but without adding the 4mm rounds. Pass the needle through the three central beads two more times for added security then repeat step 7 to attach another jumpring. Finish by adding a Boltring clasp to one end and a second jumpring to the other.
