You will need 0.8mm wire in your desired colour, a ring mandrel, round nose pliers and a cutter. Practice makes perfect and you will have plenty of wire to practice your lines and curves to create beautiful shapes and words before creating your final masterpieces. These rings look perfect stacked up creating the much-needed statement accessory your outfit requires! How to make a love wirework ring - step 1

Step One

Straighten and cut a length of wire approx 20 to 25cms long. Leaving a 6cm tail bend the wire into a loop shape to start forming the L. When wire writing bear in mind the flow of longhand writing, you may find it useful to write the word down to use for reference

Step Two

Hold the lower part of the L and bring the wire all the way around to form the O. You can use your fingers or pliers to form the letters.

Step Three

Hold the O and bring the wire back up to start forming the V

Step Four

Place the pliers level with the top of the V and bring the wire back down to start forming the E

Using flat nose pliers grip the wire after the V and bring the wire over the top

Step Eight

Grip the curve of the E with your thumb and finger and bring the wire around to complete the E

Step Nine

Position the wire straight out from both side of your word ready to form around the ring mandrel

Place the word on the ring mandrel a size or two lower than what you need and bring the wires around the mandrel

Trim the wires each side of the ring and with round nose pliers create a loop
