Summer statement necklace tutorial step 1

Step One

Use the bead board to lay out a three strand necklace that will graduate in layers while it is being worn. Thread your design graduating the beads and placing a jump ring in between each bead. At the point where the beads change size group 5 jump rings together for an added feature.

Step Two

Add a crimp bead and a 5 ½ cms of chain to each end of the threads, skipping the chain bring the end of the thread back down through the crimp bead, crimp and cover with a crimp cover.

Step Three

Add a jump ring to each end of the chain and attach to the loop on the toggle clasp, keeping in mind that the three beaded strands need to be kept in the graduated layers.

Repeat step three to the opposite side adding the other side of the clasp.
