1

Step One

Working with the 0.4mm wire straight from the reel thread on a random selection of gem’s from the bundle.

2

Step Two

Secure the end of the wire around one end of the hair comb with a couple of wraps and snip off the excess.

3

Step Three

Drop down the first gem on the wire approx 1cm away from the comb and make sure the wire is going up one side of the comb and back down the other side of the comb. Hold both sides of the wire down against the comb with your less dominant hand while holding the gem in between the fingers of your dominant hand and rotate the gem twisting the wires together to meet the comb.

4

Step Four

Wrap the wire once around the comb in between the prongs securing the gem then wrap the wire into the next prong section.

5

Step Five

Bring down the next gem and hold in place and repeat step three.

6

Step Six

Repeat steps 3 and 4 creating wire twists all across the hair comb making slightly longer twists as you work across to the centre.

7

Step Seven

When you reach the centre you can make a two or three branched out section by twisting half way then bending the wire back up, drop down another gem and twist a branch to meet the main wire before twisting together to meet the comb.

8

Step Eight

When you have completed tiara twist sections across the comb leave a length of wire approx. 50cm’s long and snip away from the reel. Thread on a pearl and wrap around the base of the comb so that the pearl covers it. Repeat adding pearls covering the base all the way across the comb.

9

Step Nine

Finish the wire by wrapping around the base of the comb a couple of times. Cut the wire off at the front of the comb tucking in any sharp ends with flat nose pliers.
