Step One

Cut 6 lengths of 0.4mm wire approx 28cms long, find the centre and bend in half.Cut a 90cm length of thread. Thread on the needle. starting with the green seed beads, thread on 2 beads, bring down to 15cm from the end of the thread. Take the needle back over and through the beads, then over and through again.

Step Two

Thread on 55cm of seed beads then sew through the last 2 beads twice, the same way as the start of the strand.

Step Three

Create 5 green strands and 5 gold strands. Slightly vary the lengths within a few cms to enable the finished necklace to hang nicely.

Step Four

Gather the 10 strands and pull the ends to get them all at the first bead. Tie an overhand knot at the start of the strands.

Step Five

Leave a 1cm gap and tie another overhand knot.

Step Six

Using the waggs wicone and the gold wire make 2 cones.

Step Seven

Thread one of the cones onto the knotted end of the necklace..

Step Eight

Attach one end of the ribbon end clasp encasing the second knot. Trim the excess threads.

Step Nine

Repeat steps 4 – 8 to finish the other side of the necklace.
