Step One

Cut 2 x approx 12" pieces of Beading Thread, add your 7 Tigers eye beads and fasten to a Bracelet Macramé Board, (or width ways across a full sized Macramé Board), by wrapping them around one of the 'pegs'. This will be your Lazy Strand.

Step Two

Using an overhand knot, individually attach all three of the 1m lengths of waxed cord so the knots are central on each piece

Step Three

Take both sides of the top cord and make a square knot over the top of the other strands. To do this take the right hand cord and cross it over the lazy strand to make a 'P' shape

Step Four

Take the left hand cord and feed it underneath the lazy strand and up through the 'P' on the other side, pull both cords tight. Now using the same cord repeat this but start with the left hand cord to make a backward 'P' shaped loop, feed the right hand cord under the lazy strand and up through the loop and pull tight.

Step Seven

Repeat step 3 making sure the 'P' shape goes around and under the bead, then repeat steps 4 and 5 so you have three complete square knots underneath the bead

Step Eight

Continue with this pattern feeding up a bead and then making three square knots under each one until all your beads are used. Make a further three square knots and then tie an overhand knot after the final one.

Step Nine

Add a dab of glue or clear nail polish to the last three knots before trimming off the excess cord.

Step Ten

Thread on a crimp bead and a Jumpring, then feed the beading thread back through the crimp and secure with Crimping Pliers. Trim off any excess thread
