Tip One

Make sure that you don’t take on a jewellery making challenge that will be too difficult. Create a project within your ability, such as a simple necklace or earrings. You can move onto more difficult projects later.

Tip Two

Don’t make designs with expensive sterling silver wire first. Use a cheaper wire to practice all your designs and then create your piece with your higher quality wire after you are confident in your wire design.

Tip Three

Use a necklace and bracelet board. These will ensure that your beaded designs are symmetrical and look fabulous!

Tip Four

Use the correct stringing materials. Adding heavy beads to monofilament is not a good idea.
