How to make a double heart wirework ring - step 1

Step One

Straighten a piece of 0.8mm wire and cut a length of approx 13 to 14cms depending on size. Measure 3cms from one end and bend the wire back 180-degree angle so that it is lying parallel with itself. Press the bend tightly together.

Step Two

Holding the bend with flat nose pliers bring the long length of wire to form a curve and then do the same with the short end forming a curve on the opposite side forming a heart shape.

Step Three

Wrap the short end around the main wire once or twice and trim the excess wire away.

Using flat nose pliers press down the trimmed end so that there are no sharp scratchy edges

Repeat bending 3cms on the opposite side of the wire using the techniques in the first 4 steps to create another heart.
