Step One

Cut a 45cm length of beading thread, thread on a crimp bead then one end of a piece of chain, pass thread back through the crimp bead, pull to form a neat loop and crimp. Trim the thread and add a crimp cover.

Step Two

Cut one end of the Ruby strand, thread on 5 Rubys and a small spacer bead.

Repeat to create 5 sections ending with a spacer bead.

Thread on the next 2 Rubys, large spacer, 2 Rubys, large spacer.

Step Five

Thread on the largest Ruby as a center stone.

Step Six

Repeat these steps in reverse to create the other side of the necklace.

Step Seven

With pliers open a jump ring and place on the blank end of the chain and the round of the clasp then close. Do the same at the other end of the necklace chain with the bar of the clasp.
