How to create a Lariat style Necklace

You Will Need:

Step One

Cut approx 30" beading thread, add on a crimp bead followed by 10×8mm clear quartz rounds and feed the end back through the crimp again to form a loop. Check your feature bead will fit through this loop before securing crimp in place with crimping pliers. Then cover with a crimp cover.

Step Two

Feed on as many gemstones as you like until you have the desired length of necklace, alternating colours and shapes as you go.

Step Three

When you reach the end add on a crimp bead and a jump ring, then feed the thread back through the crimp, secure with crimping pliers and trim off any excess thread.

Step Four

Put the feature bead on to the headpin and using round nose pliers make a simple loop at the top of the pin to make a dangle.

Step Five

Attach the dangle to the jump ring to complete the lariat style necklace.

Step Six

To wear it simply position in a line behind your neck, bring the two ends together and pop the dangle through the loop of clear Quartz rounds, and adjust to suit.
