Kumihimo is a traditional Japanese braiding technique that allows you to create beautiful woven jewellery.

Using multiple cords or threads and either a round disk to make rope-like jewellery or a square plate to make flat designs, you can make so many different patterns simply by changing the colour or number of threads involved.
